DE VLOER

DEVLOERDEVLOER is the platform for young movement, dance and performance in Ghent. It is an accessible and multidisciplinary hotbed of creativity and artistic expression.

DEVLOER is also your playground, “I am my city, my neighborhood, my living environment”: dancing, playing, training, trying, making, practicing, showing, making music, filming, photographing, etc. We make brand new initiatives possible; we are curious about those with the least experience in the process and encourage creative interventions. We organize workshops, share-and-trainings, mini retreats and intensives, body repair cafés, coaching, creative labs, performance evenings, free movement labs, contact improv jams, and more.

DEVLOER is the flexible workplace where exchange, research, self-development, mutual incentives, peer-to-peer learning, Do-It-Yourself and sharing talents are central.

Since this year, DEVLOER has been supported by a dynamic and innovative group of young professional dancers from Ghent: Lies Lambrecht, Ine Garré, Amber Bosteels, Astrid Delombaerde and Emilie de Vlam, founder of DEVLOER.
