"Dwaalvogels"
Vlak voor de zon de stad ontwaakt, dwalen zij die steeds ergens tussenvallen doorheen de straten. Hier boetseren ze zich met beweging en geluiden tot hybride lichaamsvormen - nog niet volledig mens en altijd een beetje vogel. (Enkel zichtbaar wanneer je iets te lang naar de wolken kijkt)
"Dwaalvogels" wordt gespeeld door 2 dansers en 1 saxofonist, en begeleid door de ochtendglories. De voorstelling vindt plaatst tijdens het blauwe uur, het dwaaluur, tijdens de overgang van nacht naar dag op zondag 22 september 2024, 7:30-8:15 in Zonder-Naamstraat in Gent. Hierna eten we samen een blauw ontbijt.
De dansers zijn Lore Duvivier (theaterwetenschapper, dj, beweger) en Ester Bosschaert Devroe (ornitoloog, theaterwetenschapper, danser, filmmaker).
De saxofonist is Loïs Pluymers, zijn speelde onlangs nog tijdens het Trefpuntfestival op de Gentse Feesten en in Industriemuseum met haar eigen ontworpen Industrial Improvisations.
Het is een project gesteund door Danspunt (Code Dans)

“DWAALVOGELS”
Just before the sun awakens the city, those who always fall somewhere in between wander through the streets. Here they mold themselves into hybrid body forms with movement and sounds - not yet fully human and always a little bird. (Only visible when you look at the clouds a little too long).
“DWAALVOGELS” is performed by 2 dancers and 1 saxophonist, and accompanied by morning glories. The performance takes place during the blue hour, the wandering hour, during the transition from night to day on Sunday, September 22, 2024, 7:30-8:15 in Zonder-Naamstraat in Ghent. Afterwards, we will eat a blue breakfast together.
The dancers are Lore Duvivier (theater scholar, DJ, mover) and Ester Bosschaert Devroe (ornithologist, theater scholar, dancer, filmmaker).
The saxophonist is Loïs Pluymers, his recently played at the Trefpunt Festival at the Ghent Festivities and at Industriemuseum with her own designed Industrial Improvisations.
